2026-08-18 compile · 54pp. Adds two pre-registered results: the surfacing ceiling is a ranking artifact (a calibrated two-stage rerank lifts surfacing from 19 to 30 of the frozen 120 targets at the same 40-item budget, exact McNemar p = 0.0074; off-the-shelf cross-encoder is a clean null; reader conversion on the raised ceiling not yet measured), and a powered synthetic separation showing the deterministic negation-propagation probe drives worldview-revision performance beyond bare reification (69 vs 43 of 100 worlds, p = 2.2e-7). Also: prior-art lineage paragraph (structure-mapping, analogy mining) with the contribution rescoped to the measurement; one wording correction in the aggregation case study. Retitled from "Infrastructure for Structurally Justified Surprise" (v1.4 and earlier carry the old title).
